Especially his take on LA deadeye with Determination stood out to me and I wanted to make a character based on that. Why/how this works: 1) you dont need insane amounts of armour to mitigate small hits very well, especially with small amounts of phys taken as elemental, endurance charges and enduring cry 2) You dont need insane amounts of evasion to evade 80+% of attacks, if you pair it with b

Hey Guys, tried to work on the current chieftain iteration of reap and worked it into the new reworked one. Seems pretty decent for such a tanky character, with awakened gems you're breaking into 10-15mil DPS territory easily for sure. More armour/conversion to ele would be nice as phys mitigation could be a tad bit higher. Currently at a loss at what to get for 4th lab, maybe I'll go for some fireborn node conversion shenanigans dunno yet havent figured out TBH.

Yo guys, as many people have discovered, Hiero is very potent this patch for casters. I wanted to make a cheap-ish Sparker that is full league start viable. The main selling point is that unlike other early game sparkers, we have so much Damage that we can take both pierce and faster projectiles and still end up at 3.8Mil per projectile. On an inquis, you will not be able to do this in meaningful content early league so you will have very low projectile speed and very low pierce count (1 or 2 from gloves maximum). Let me know what
Yo guys, I really feel like with the addition of vengeant cascade, deadeye became a viable class for frost blades. Far Shot basically gives you 30% more Damage since the icey blades always travel the maximum distance (147% increased Projectile speed), The mark mastery gives massive Base Crit and the tailwind 4 pointer gives potentially massive mitigation as well as 20% action speed (more Damage). The small nodes give some projectile speed which is pretty good to get above the 140-ish threshold. Far shot should also be massive while clearing since most mobs actually only get hit by the icey bl

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone tried poison spark in e.g. SSF setting and got some results on a cookie cutter setup. So after Obliteration got buffed by quite a significant amount I started thinking about how to make use of those. Obviously you can do Poison with those, but then youre having backloaded Damage and I dont really like that while going fast through maps. This is a BV Char with currently 65% chaos convert and 80% added as Chaos. Im sure you could go higher with a Cluster Setup but I've chosen to not incorporate clusters since those usually inflate the cost quite a bit. Build doesnt really have outstanding rares, just the body armour
After I've posted about Evasion and Armour Based Attack Builds, I thought I would theorize about Armour Based Spellcasters too. I've taken the Standard Inquisitor Spellcaster and worked on its defensive properties a bit - this recycles mostly defensive concepts from the previous posts but I feel like its worth showcasing nonetheless. I've tried to explore alternate defensive setups for a couple of archetypes and this is what I've came up with for Pure Evasion Characters. I've chosen Deadeye on purpose because its quite a bit easier to get a lot of Evasion on Raider. This build uses the lowest tier of the Body Armour Flask per 3 sec Implicit and the utility flask charges gained mastery to permanently maintain 5 flasks (Jade Flask has only 92% uptime so a good chunk of a second downtime sadly). So I tried to get as tanky as possible without using any of the mentioned mechanics. Turns out you can get permanent uptime on 4 utility flasks on any class with a flask belt+the 4 pointer flask cluster near elusive nodes and The Traitor Keystone. Without such a belt you would just drop the less duration mods on the flasks and get %chance to avoid, has the same effect basically. That, coupled with 3 points into max res solves ele mitigation, pretty much. This means for 7 points we can get roughly as much as suppression would net us
