PoB: This is a PoB for the new Corrupting Cry Support (CCS). Since it's new, I don't know exactly how it will perform, but it isn't too different from Exsang./Reap DoT, which I've league started before. Hello there, I did a theory craft on Power Charge Flicker Strike with the new Crucible Node that allows us to spend Power Charges instead of Frenzy Charges to reset Flicker Strikes cooldown. My inital plan was to go with Assassin and go with Lightning Damage since it works so well with Power Charges, but then I realized that Flicker Strike actually scales with Frenzy Charges aswell and Power Charges are really only needed for our uptime. So after a bit of messing around, I might have come up with a phys Flicker Strike Slayer that looks like it's SSF viable for a league start. Parameters: 900k+ boss DPS assuming maximum Rage, Pride effect and totems, but no Berserk or Vaal Haste (goes up to 1.5m burst DPS if so). Not that you'd be doing pinnacles on this, but it's a good indication of single target potential. I tried raider, but impale is phys, so that didn't make much sense. I tried Champion, but "The Impaler" caps at 5 impales, so getting sources of +impale didn't make much sense to me either. Made myself a build I'll be leaguestarting so I wanted to share it with you guys. It's a strength and accuracy stacking berserker with blunderbore and gull to make mapping smooth and second sight from timeless jewel to get enough crit to play blitz comfortably. Any feedback is welcome!
