So I'm fairly certain this is probably the final update I'll do to my Trauma Flicker Strike build guide, so here's a showcase of how the build plays in Wave 30 simulacrum.
I posted the WIP earlier in the league and have since gone back and forth ironing out the kinks of the build. So far my biggest finding was using the new amulet, Defiance of Destiny, which singlehandlely solves the shotgun problem that most flicker strike build have when dealing with difficult content.
If the amulet is not available next league, there's still a number of good alternatives that can be used. Eternal Damnation can help vs. elemental damage, Aul's Uprising with Pride can help push damage and armour (free Grace or Arctic Armour) even further, and Eyes of the Greatwolf with Quant + PDR is already BiS for magic finding.

Note that my character snapshots are starting to pull ahead of the PoB guide because of some good double corrupts, good rolls on gear, better enchantment (berserk effect), and better watcher's eye. It's still possible to do wave 30 simulacrum with the default "Expensive" setup.
I'm currently pushing towards the mirror tier variants. Mageblood alone is 0.8 mirrors, the rings will be another 0.4. I may skip the rings and just continue to magic find with Ventors + Mageblood. I'm interested in the double mirror version just for the 200/400mill dps brag, but I know that's a pipe dream considering how impossible the weapon craft is.
So far the Expensive version is budgeted at around 50 divines with self crafted gear. More if you are not crafting anything yourself. There's a number of upgrades between the Expensive and Mirror Tier setups that could be sensibly pursued (5-15 div), like double corruption on gloves and armour, or a triple mod watcher's eye.
The Lategame version is budgeted around 15-20 divines and can be skipped entirely if you get the Untiring Forbidden jewels and Red Trail. It's something you'd aim for during week 1 of the league.
Overall this is a pretty satisfying flicker build to continuously spend currency on. It never quite reaches "immortal" status, specially when you throw Wandering Path strats into the mix, but for anything else if feels amazing. The fact that it can successfully pull off Wandering Path strategies kinda amazes me. That said, 8-mod corrupted maps or 100% delirious with Wandering Path sometimes get a little bit too difficult without mageblood, so that's where my next upgrade is headed.
Also after attempting some uber bosses I can still safely say that this build will simply never be ready for them. Even if I solved for 100% spell suppression and got 1-2k more health, I still don't particularly think it would feel good to do bosses with the long ramping times that this build requires. There's better builds for ubers if that's what you are after.
For anything else, this build fits the bill. Normal bosses and Maven invitations are a joke by this point (Expensive setup), so if I get bored of the crimson prison (Crimson Temple) I can switch strategies and start farming guardians, or do wave 30 simulacrum, or run uber lab, or whatever else I fancy.
