We choose PF because I'm fixated into Flask Effect haha, the QoL is insane honestly, you can have a permanent bismuth that caps all you resistances almost alone, very cool, and also boost the quant of the potion (currently gives 21% quant), scales movement speed, everything, very fun!, 100% recommended for league start. Besides that, we remove ailments on potion use, which is fantastic, and we generate them all the time due to criting all the time + recharging them.

As for the Flicker, We are generating Frenzy Charges with Way of the Poacher Forbidden Jewels (very cheap) + Frenzy on Kill / Hit.

I always try to sneak some defenses in my MF builds, they are not, of course, the best tanks such as Aegis, mostly because we put more effort into fitting MF, balancing damage and speed. This character has 50% True Attack/Spell Block (no glancing blows), sadly we don't have spell suppression, we could if we ditch damage, but that I will leave to you guys, for me this is fine since we carry a HH that boost our defenses, plus some shrines while mapping.

(This map had very rippy mods, such as: 65% Less Flask Charges, Poison (-60% chaos res), attack/cast speed and the most annoying thing is "Monsters Steal Frenzy Charges", which is quite annoying haha).

This is not intended to be the best MF, just a fun project for a melee MF!.

Edit 2: Last PoB has Fortify + Lion's Roar, ditched onslaught potion, not needed at all with flicker. feels very tanky now!
