This is a PoB for the new Corrupting Cry Support (CCS). Since it's new, I don't know exactly how it will perform, but it isn't too different from Exsang./Reap DoT, which I've league started before. I've added a couple of hipster techs to spice it up, though.

CCS has a lot of base damage, but not as many ways to scale it as Exsang. and Reap since it's not a skill gem. That rules out weapons like Cold Iron Point or wands with +1 to all (physical) skill gems. For your weapon then, you can pick up a bow with +2 to socketed support gems or try scaling minion damage with Spiritual Aid. A third option is The Dark Seer, which gives global increased damage and Malediction. You do need to blind yourself to use it, though, for which we use Retaliation Charm. Now, Retaliation Charm is stupid... BUT, CCS doesn't really gain that much from amulets anyway. Retaliation Charm gives frenzies and can come with interesting corruptions. This combo is dirt cheap too; good for league start.

Another reason to use it is because I want to use the Eternal Apple. This patch introduced a new tech to generate endurance charges: Trauma Support + the Inexorable node. Every time we gain a Trauma stack, we have a chance to gain an endurance charge. I stack minimum charges so that we only need 1 charge to trigger the Apple. So what strike skill do we pick to link to Trauma Support? Well, since we have these frenzies.. Yes, it's Flicker Strike. Reminder, Flicker does also grant a buff that gives movement speed!

Now, for the final meme: I've linked General's Cry to Chain Hook! Theoretically this could be any attack; I don't think we even get the rage from it. However, I do think it's good to link an attack to General's Cry. For one, in this setup I need a way to apply blind. But secondly, being able to front load corrupted blood stacks on bosses is very valuable. CCS only applying on the first hit by exerted attacks makes including an attack not very interesting for clear, but for single target it will make it a lot smoother. I do believe each general can apply a stack, but that is not completely clear from the wording.
