PoE Cruelty builds

Update: New pob. TL;DR: A lot of scaling doesn't work as intended, we crit ambush now. Estimated damage is 2.2m on average, with a possible ~200k plague bearer. Hi all! So I've decided to try to theorycraft something simple for my first leaguestart without using a guide made by ziz, jungroan, pathofmath, and the like. I'm interested in an ignite build and eventually settled on hexblast ignite because playing with curses also seemed fun. I made a POB and it's hitting 8mill ignite dps on guardians on gear that shouldn't cost more than 7 or 8 ex I think by the second or third week of league. Is this too good to be true? The shared PoB has some issues I am aware of (empower lvl2, under-leveled gems in general, some gear pieces are terrible - especially wand, missing Passive ascendancy jewels). Hi , i wanted to add elusive into my build ,but its non-crit, and i use molten shell for walking so i cant use withering step. Is there anyway to have it ? I made a thread here a little while back and got a lot of help from this sub-reddit. My little fireball build was turned around and made alive once again (sorta). I have since than continued to make improvements. Gear upgrades. Testing different uniques. But I feel as though I have invested alot of currency and time into this build and it still doesn't feel good. (I don't have a lot of time to play). as the title says, I want to go a little bit oldschool and created this "low"-budget PoB linked below. Is this realistic dps, and more so, enough dps for tackling on the lategame? Did I configure everything "correct", as in, realistic?

So I have been trying to have an impaling build that ignites and use the blackflame ring. Blackflame ring for the exclusive reason of I like purple. So I was trying to figure out how to do it without sacrificing too much from one aspect or the other. Been using the weapon Paradoxica to try to mitigate that.
