Hey, final update on the build that no one was interested in. Min-maxed to the best of my budget abilities. Hello, Looking for help with Vortex in SSFHC. Go easy on me this is my first self-made build. I primarily play SSFHC, and I'd like to make my own build from scratch this time. Most of my characters have died so far, and I'm hoping this one will be safer with chill/freeze effects. Gear equipped is just crap random gear I have on one of my leveling toons. Using Vortex with Grace, Determination, Tempest Shield, and D,Banner. Thanks for looking, and I appreciate your help!

It seems it would be a fun gimmick build. I saw a build of this on reddit, but it was outdated for 3.17. I now tried to remake it with newer stuff, and this is what I have so far: Please note there is 2 variants, a war-staff variant and another one that uses regular staff (or replica cold iron). I set up 2 different trees, gear, and skill groups for either. Seeing ds lily's new video prompted me to post the build I theorycrafted and have been enjoying recently Really smooth feeling build decent defense, great clear with it's screenwide AoE and poison prolif. could easily reach dot cap 35M dps with better rares/jewels and rolling Elemental overload on keystone tattoo. only issue I've had with the build has been solving recovery but I've added a leveled vitality+life regen craft on flask and my next goal is to add a Rational Doctrine jewel to get up to about 800 life regen.
