This is a build I'm planning to league start. It probably does and will suck. But I'd be happy for feedback on it anyway. As soon as I saw the new Covenant with added level 29 chaos damage I knew I wanted to go with a skill with low flat damage to abuse it to the max, and lancing steel turned out to be the perfect candidate. I put together a pretty quick PoB and it turned out just amazing, with 2 mil damage (4mil with Savior), decent hp, all the usual tanky stuff plus insane life gain on hit, AND massive clear from deadeye's chain. I'm going to make a bet that patch notes will give us "Minions have +% chance to poison on hit" as an added mod to the pool for the new base types. We would use the free weapon to auto-cast Bladefall for Lingering Blades. Our Animated Weapons have 75/75 block, 83% all res, and max chaos res with ~24k life. Because they won't die, 2.5 blades every 8 seconds is plenty to sustain the minions and even if not we have increased duration nodes right where we're pathing. I have been playing a Pathfinder, Caustic Arrow Ballista poison build for a bit now and I am liking it a lot. It was not my league starter, but I am thinking of starting it next league as my only character. ( i normally roll a bunch and get bored of it in T16s.) All the gear is super cheap and available.
