PoE Nova, Simulacrum builds

DISCLAIMER: This isn't meant to be a guide but a proof of concept. While I did play this character straight from day 1 of the league, I don't really recommend it early because it's a bit clunky before Divergent Berserk and Lethal Pride appeared on trade which was around day 3, and also the playstyle is really active. Thought I'd share the idea behind the build I used to get 38 Challenges this league. Buffs to self-cast this league made me once again reconsider the viability of Fanaticism, a buff intended to be used for self-casters provided by Instruments of Zeal from the Inquisitor ascendan

Shield has Tempest Shield Estimate as custom mod Most items have 5-7% bonus defenses added as custom mod Vortex has alt quality to simulate lvl 21 upgrade to Creeping Frost (It's lvl 2425 is too much DPS; unrealistic Cold Snap's Controlled Destruction support had quality lowered to 10 for the same reason. Rime Gaze does not have an enchantment. Amulet has Divine Judgment. Tranquility with current setup would give 52k DPS and ~75 ES. Forgot to tab but the map mods were more life + extra damage + monster resist + poison on hit + chilled ground iirc. It's a really short clip that doesn't do the build justice but I just wanted to show a proof of concept. Finished 36/40 challenges last week playing this build primarily (and another build to do Uber Atziri). Cleared all content, including The Feared after I found out the Atziri there has no reflect. Probably can't do 100% Delirium though, if that's what you want. - PoB.

Oh hivemind, I call upon thee! So, ever since the announcement I've been glancing towards the Battlemage and Fanaticism nodes of the Inquisitor tree and decided to try and conjure up a quick idea for a build using those two. While perhaps a little unconventional, I decided to go for Frostbolt and Ice Nova, coupling it with a Debeon's Dirge. So I had this wacky idea for an ignite build earlier, and to my surprise, the numbers actually seemed to work out. The template for my build was mathil's Divine Ire Ignite character. The idea behind the build was to map with Divine Ire and then blow up bosses with the charges you've generated, since the cooldown looks annoying but the base damage is huge. Because of the bonuses to Ignites, Charges, and Channeling, I started looking into Trickster. This is what led me to the main synergy behind this build: the combination of Stormfire and Hrimmburn. Important notes Mana regen % anywhere you can get it from is really really good - start with clarity and replace it with herald of thunder once you get enough mana regen Gloves w/ spell damage leeched as ES are a huge survivability boost. Surgeons prefix on flasks is stupidly OP (we have 100% crit chance and fast cast speed so this is insanely good for us and gives the flasks massive uptime on bossfights)
