Hi everyone,
When Trinity Support was announced I was pretty hyped. My first instinct is to abuse it with a support spell that uses a different element and exists for the sole purpose of generating resonance for your main skill. As it gives 50% more elemental damage and 20% elemental penetration, it is one of the most powerful supports available to elemental self cast spells.
Luckily, there is already a powerful self-cast build involving a 2 spell combo: Frostbolt - Ice Nova. This build utilizes a lightning damage Frostbolt to grant the incredible benefits of Trinity Support to Ice Nova, and seems to have really high damage output.
Occultist PoB that I threw together in 1hr: https://pastebin.com/G0fMrx0M
(Note: the Pledge in my PoB is manually edited because Trinity Support isn't supported yet and it also doesn't correctly account for the interaction between Frostbolt - Ice Nova and Pledge of Hands. Also Lightning Penetration is to simulate the mana multiplier of Trinity Support (140%))
(Actual DPS ~ PoB DPS * 5.4, so about 13.5M DPS with this setup)
(Applying this concept to Arcinde's Perfect Ice Nova Hiero gives 40M DPS, up from 34M)
What are your thoughts? How would you improve this?
