Thought it would be nice to theorycraft a bit with hiero. Turns out between kugals gaze, new bubonic trail and the hiero ascendancy and a mana mastery, you gain 100% (150 if 1k mana spend recently) arcane surge efficiency which equals 40% more damage with new hiero. Forgot to tab but the map mods were more life + extra damage + monster resist + poison on hit + chilled ground iirc. It's a really short clip that doesn't do the build justice but I just wanted to show a proof of concept. Finished 36/40 challenges last week playing this build primarily (and another build to do Uber Atziri). Cleared all content, including The Feared after I found out the Atziri there has no reflect. Items listed are fairly budget, main piece is Tempest Binding but a 4L EK should get you by until yellow maps with BV for ST in chest. might be able to fit in herald of thunder somewhere since I still have 40% mana reserve left and will eventually put in wrath once I get warlords on hit ring.
