I've noticed a lot of people prefer to run Pathfinder for the totem explosion build that seems to all the rage right now. Built this a week or so ago before the videos began popping up and wanted to point out that the Hiero ascendancy can be a simpler route to quick totem damage. That fact that ball lightning hits every 150ms has always made me think it would be an interesting applicator for poison, but given lightning damage didn't really have any good way to do that I forgot about it.... Until I saw the new Voltaic Rift. So ever since the anomalous quality for Crackling Lance was released I wanted to try to make a poison Cracklance build. Never really worked out so far because there was no way (I knew of) to get quality high enough, however now with the new Dialla's Malefaction it might just work out. With the change to ward's base restoration rate and the new suffixes on ward bases , ward can be used as an extra defensive layer for evasion builds similar to Ghost Dance. 50% faster restoration of ward on helm, boots, and gloves will give a ward restoration time of 1.6 seconds.
