DISCLAIMER: I have not actually played this build in any way yet and 3.18 is when I'll possibly try it, so it could have periods of build progress where its shit before it becomes good, or just be shit forever. For anyone who wants a more hipster build that isn't DD, seismic, EA, RF, or any of the other really strong meta builds but also doesn't want some straight garbage, I present to you my 3.18 HCSSF league start. PROGRESSION NOTES: CAMPAIGN As of 3.17 I'm recommending you level primarily with Explosive Arrow ballistas after your first Labyrinth. After playing similar variants over the last few patches I've worked on a White Wind Helix Deadeye for this league. This build only has a bunch of rares with spell suppression, elemental resistances and attributes to cover int/str requirements. An exception are the gloves which have 2 of the most impactful eldritch implicits which you should be able to consistently hit while naturally progressing your exarch/eater quest line. I have wanted to play caustic arrow for a while now but it doesn't seem to do enough damage. I threw together this POB and it doesn't look promising: There's little gear, but even with expensive stuff I don't see it doing more than maybe 3 million DPS, and since its tankiness and speed isn't great, it doesn't seem worthwhile to play. Hello, after we know Helix and Nightblade is safe next patch I started thinking about how to improve or at least spice up the renown helix variants. After Dawnbreaker+ToH combo got quite some traction recently I tried to tech it into the build. Hello everyone, every league I try to theory craft builds that are all map mod and content viable. They are not always the fastest or most efficient, but I try to make builds that can function as work horses to do anything you want during the league on low budgets. I don't know if there's much new with this but I put together an assassin stacking flat chaos dmg on gear and chaos dmg % and multi on the tree. It takes Perfect Agony. In my own testing I found just putting the attack skill in the 6l to be mandatory for clear, and my DPS is about 2m with pretty shit gear.
