Filters - Tytykillers filters [but be careful] - Regular filterblade League Mechanic Evaluate the new League Mechanic based on your personal preferences - Do you enjoy it? - Do the rewards seem worth the time/effort? - Do what is the most fun for you! Chaos Recipe Tool - Turn off auto equip (if on it will equip weapons when you pick them up and you lose PoCo) We don't use weapons, our damage comes from having as much Life Recovery on a Life Flask as possible. When you attack with PoCo it uses your Life Flask charges to add chaos damage to your attack, so the bigger your Life Flask the more damage you do. It uses charges so you want to have multiple Life Flasks early on so that you have enough charges for longer boss encounters. Plan on carrying at least 3 Life Flasks that are rolled up as strong as possible (watch out for "reduced amount recovered mods") for the entire campaign. Always be on the look out for high Evasion + Armour gear. In Act 1-3 prioritize Evasion but look for more Armour after that, especially once you are able to get Determination. Always be leveling relevant gems in your offhand. Gems like Summon Skeletons are really good because they sell for a lot early! [ Movement Options ] Much of movement is up to personal choice, the thing to always keep in mind is that many movement skills share cooldowns and actually block each other from building up charges. If we want to use Withering Step on our left click (run faster, do more damage) it will eat charges from Dash and block Smoke Mine from recharging. Shield Charge becomes available once we do the library quest in Act 3 from Siosa (or you can get a friend to buy it for you if they are a Marauder, Templar, or Duelist). This skill wont block the cooldowns of "blink" movement skills and pairs very nicely with Withering Step. In this situation I recommend keeping Smoke Mine or Flame Dash for getting over ledges/gaps. My Plan is to have a friend buy me Shield Charge and use Withering Step + Smoke Mine in addition. [ Planning for Second Build ] ----------------------------------------------- Act 1 ----------------------------------------------- - Vendor Iron Rings with Blue Gem to get a Sapphire Ring for cold res asap (Requires Level 8). Important for not getting frozen + Merveil - Every time you go back to town check Tarkleigh for movement speed boots (tip: can just type "nn" into search bar for "runners") - Vendor Boots + Quicksilver Flask + Augmentation Orb for Movement Speed boots (can keep vendoring to upgrade tier later) - Look for a shield to put into offhand for switch to Poisonous Concoction (PoCo) once you hit level 12 Levels 1-12 Look for Three Green Linked (G-G-G) gear Caustic Arrow - Pierce - Mirage Archer [After Mercy Mission (Hailrake)] Volley (put into spare socket for leveling) [After Breaking Some Eggs] Steelskin Dash Shrapnel Ballista -- super helps out clearing rares + Brutus [After Prison (Nessa + Tarkleight)] Take Lesser Multiple Proj from Nessage for the swap to PoCo later Take Precision from Tarkleigh [After Brutus] Lesser Multiple Projectiles -- (put into offhand for leveling for PoCo switch) Precision -- buy when possible (costs a Transmute) Smoke Mine -- buy when possible (costs a Transmute) Vitality + Clarity -- These are optional, but grab for comfort if you want and have extra Transmutes Can use Lapis Amulet and Heavy Belt to solve Intelligence and Strength requirements early on Drop Vitality/Clarity when possible or necessary. Also only level them up as necessary/comfortable with mana reservation. However, we keep Precision the whole game and want to level it up fairly high. [After Entering Merveil's Caverns] Take Poisonous Concoction from Nessa Switch out bow + quiver for Shield and make the swap Craft Cold Res and Life on gear to make her MUCH easier [ Level 12 ] Poisonous Concoction - Volley - Chance To Poison G-G-G Fourth link will be Lesser Multiple Projectiles when we get 4L, be on the lookout for G-G-G-G Switch Chance to Poison for Volley when you get 100% chance to poison from Passive Tree ----------------------------------------------- Act 2 ----------------------------------------------- [ Kill All Bandits ] --> If HC you can Help Alira for more resists [ Intruders In Black ] Blood Rage Herald of Agony (until you get 100% poison chance from other sources) [ Sharp and Cruel (Silk) ] Vicious Projectiles (for leveling in offhand for later) Faster Attacks (for Shield Charge) ----------------------------------------------- Act 3 ----------------------------------------------- I like to do Lab after killing Dominus, do it when you feel comfortable. [ Lost in Love ] Plague Bearer (level in offhand, don't use until Act 8-9 when it is stronger and you are faster, it's just slow and clunky early on) Your mileage may vary but I prefer simpler playstyle early on Despair Grace (for later) [ Fixture of Fate (Library quest optional but comfortable for 4L) ] Unbound Ailments or Lifetap for 4L if you don't have 4G If you have 4G, use Void Manip At this point you'll be looking something along these lines: Poison Concoction - Volley - Lesser Proj - (Void Manip / Lifetap / Unbound Ailments) Blood Rage Grace Clarity (personal choice, for comfort until Lifetap) Shield Charge - Faster Attacks Withering Step Flame Dash This is where you would switch in Plague Bearer if you really want to, make sure you take the PB Poison Mastery for 20% PB amount. I tested this here at level 32 and it just felt a little too clunky for me but some people like it. ----------------------------------------------- Act 4 ----------------------------------------------- [ Red Banner Reward ] Whichever Golem you want, I went for Ice Golem but they're annoying to manage anyway so no big deal! [ Rapture Device Reward (from Dialla) ] Greater Multiple Projectiles Greater Volley - Trade up and craft Sacred Life Flasks, roll for more Recovery for a huge damage boost. - Level 42 upgrade to Hallowed Life Flasks (BIG damage upgrade) ----------------------------------------------- Act 5 ----------------------------------------------- No Changes, look for gear and flask upgrades but otherwise smooth sailing there lil' fella. [ After Killing Kitava ] Do a thorough audit of your gear here. You'll want to double check especially your resists and life and you'll want to make sure that you have anti corrupted blood flask as well (if you didn't get one for Dominus already). ----------------------------------------------- Act 6 ----------------------------------------------- [ After Lily Quest ] All personal preference at this point. Consider options such as: Determination Defiance Banner Molten Shell Ancestral Protector + Withering Touch At this point, we got everything we really care about. There's lot of improvements and min/maxing that we can do but really, besides rolling up better flasks and looking for life/res/spell suppression and good armour/evasion gear, it's all just butter and gravy down the ol' gullet of Mr Samwise McGonagal. ----------------------------------------------- After Act 10 ----------------------------------------------- - Type /passives to make sure you didn't miss any - Buy Order for Offering to the goddess for uber lab - Buy cheap upgrades if possible (5 link, movement speed boots) - Chaos cluster jewel - Alternate Quality Gems (Divergent PConc)
