I've been PoB warrior'ing for awhile and I think I've settled on my league starter. Main criteria was melee, strong overall build (mapping + bossing), and tanky as possible. Was thinking boneshatter slayer, but I avoided it for a couple of reasons; Vaal Pact annoys me and Slayer needs it to be acceptably tanky, and Slayer is kind of bad at bossing without very high investment. This is NOT a leaguestarter due to uniques needed, I would go a classic CHIEFTAIN if you leaguestart with it due to things being much easier and cheaper if you do so. I think this build has some interesting synergies. Vulconus in main hand and Nycta's Lantern for Battlemage in the offhand makes for a good combo, when you take Avatar of Fire on the tree as well as bleed the enemy somehow. I have thrown this together in the last hour or so as an quick idea to make best use of the new Cloak of Flame. Its still very rough around the Edges and needs to be fleshed out. Its meant for a Leaguestart SSF Enviroment. It includes Cloak of Flame and a Warlords Helmet though which may need a few days to obtain, longer if unlucky. But i am confident you could live off of Armour longer if needed. I am thankful for any ideas to improve it. This build is attempting to maximize the buffs given by Her Embrace (from Oni Goroshi) by adding physical damage and "gain % Physical Damage as extra Fire Damage" modifiers and stacking increased Fire Damage/More Fire Damage modifiers. Nothing here is finalized, but so far this is my most fleshed-out attempt at an SSF league starter for 3.19. This one is built for maximum ease of gearing and ease of play. From what we've seen so far, do you guys think zerker with rage and impale would be a good choice for 3.19? Here's a quick pob I threw together (not sure if I'm calculating the dps of it correctly but it looks promising). I started building a new league starter (hopefully no balance changes to SC) and think that I have a pretty refined idea for budget Shield Crush utilizing some cheap uniques. Watchers Eye (Single Mod) is really the only item that may be expensive to work towards as a goal in the first week, but impale is pretty non-meta right now.
