Mana stacking as a core archetype has been mostly figured out. It requires a lot of uniques to start, but they are all pretty cheap, and once you have them the build scales linearly. The strategy of stacking STR and INT with Shaper's Touch gives a very smooth progression path that can go on for basically forever. It's an archetype that you can start and end the league with. Manaforged Arrow is a relatively new addition to the archetype. You can use it without stacking mana, but the strategy of using it while stacking has an even higher ceiling than regular mana stacking. It works by increasin

PoB: This is a PoB for the new Corrupting Cry Support (CCS). Since it's new, I don't know exactly how it will perform, but it isn't too different from Exsang./Reap DoT, which I've league started before. I've added a couple of hipster techs to spice it up, though. CCS has a lot of base damage, but not as many ways to scale it as Exsang. and Reap since it's not a skill gem. That rules out weapons like Cold Iron Point or wands with +1 to all (physical) skill gems. For your weapon then, you can pick up a bow with +2 to socketed support gems or try scaling minion dama

The two new shock based skill look awesome. Only thing is that they are combo reliant and I hate pressing buttons. However, in the same patch Spell Slinger is buffed. :thonker: PoB: So, how will this build work. We play Elementalist and take Shaper of Storms. This means that all our hits can shock no matter how much damage they deal. Thus we can shock with our wand attacks. We take Kinetic Bolt because it has inherent pierce and AoE. We then need to scale ailment effect, but luckily there is a lot of that on the tree and available from bench crafting. This means
Caveat: Build is untested; looking for feedback. Focus on league start and SSF. This PoB works on beta; there is a crash when you try to include Mirage Archers in Full Dps. Offence: Bow buffs should make this starter viable. Occupying Force makes this very comfy. Has most of the upsides of totems, without most of the downsides. Very high damage uptime during bosses. Mark on Hit: very consistent damage buff when you need it. No PoB inflation. (Damage numbers on a 5-link.) (Might need a mana flask for pre-firing during boss encounters.) (Concentrated Effect improves overlap, but make

PoB: So, with the new life recoup notes on the tree, you can do some really interesting stuff. Something that could be cool for any staff caster is to combine them with Glancing Blows and the new staff mastery that grants %life on block. That way you don't only get life when you block, but a chunk of the damage that glanced you also gets recouped. The next step is to combine this with Forbidden Rite. This skill deals a ton of damage, but also hits you. Damage from those hits can be recouped. The new recoup body armour can make it

Looking for some discussion on this theorycraft and its potential as a league starter. PoB: For the most part, this is a fairly typical Poison Pathfinder build. In that sense, I think this (or any other Poison) build will do well at league start. Especially so with the new Mastery node for Poison that grants 300% increased damage on first application. I've also looked into some synergies for this build to grow into that I'd like to discuss. Lethe Shade Lethe Shade seems like a fairly mediocre node which gives a small upside

PoB: Exsanguinate + Arcanist Brand From what I saw, Exsanguinate doesn't seem like an amazing spell to self-cast. Spell Totems seem like the obvious solution, but I think Arcanist Brands will provide the smoothest playstyle. Exsanguinate doesn't seem to suffer from its downsides (a lot). Question: Is the DoT debuff affected by the damage reduction from Arcanist Brand? I can see it going both ways depending on how one interprets the wording. If not, this could turn out godly. If it does, still not the biggest deal when

Pob: This is the general premise of the build: with a very high speed we cast Crackling Lance, the cost of which we make sure to be over a 100 mana. So, with every cast we have a 50% chance to trigger the spells in our helmet, Storm Call and Hydrosphere. To buff their damage we cast a very juicy Arcane Cloak. The idea is that we still have very good clear while at high Intensity. Two notable things about our ascendancies: Elementalist makes Hydrosphere's Exposure very strong. Raider, while giving us insane cast speed, also gives

Use the Offering path from Necro to grant us a huge chunk of that life regen, enabling us to sustain Righteous Fire. 3. Use Soulwrest to summon a Phantom every time we consume a corpse, which is very often. 4.
