PoB: https://pastebin.com/NUkjRyz8
Caveat:
Build is untested; looking for feedback.
Focus on league start and SSF.
This PoB works on beta; there is a crash when you try to include Mirage Archers in Full Dps.

Offence:
Bow buffs should make this starter viable.
Occupying Force makes this very comfy. Has most of the upsides of totems, without most of the downsides. Very high damage uptime during bosses.
Mark on Hit: very consistent damage buff when you need it. No PoB inflation.
(Damage numbers on a 5-link.)
(Might need a mana flask for pre-firing during boss encounters.)
(Concentrated Effect improves overlap, but makes it harder to fill the screen. It's ideal for bosses, but might hamper clear, especially before you pick up HoI. You can also pick up AoE from Bow mastery.)

Defence:
50% Spell Suppr. from tree.
Grace/Determination/Defiance combo.
Vaal Pact for insane leech.
Focal Points provides excellent defence during challenging league content such as Legion.
Mark on Hit and Trigger on Focus automation is a strong defensive layer.
(Chaos damage is a weakness; currently only have Soul of Shakari against it.)

Leveling:
Can level with Precise Technique.
Farsight, Master Fletcher and Acuity, alongside various masteries, should keep up Accu.
Prioritise defence over life. Reserve Determination and Grace as soon as you can.
Pick up frenzies from Mark mastery before you get it from quiver.
Graceful Assault is very important during leveling; gives Onslaught.

Ascendancies:
1&2) If speed racing acts, Gathering Winds first. I'm going to do league content during the story, so I start Occupying Force
2&3) When should I pick up Endless Munitions? Do you want to use Trinity early and, if yes, can you balance it without the use of an added damage support gem? Assuming you are working on a 4-link, you'll need the extra projectiles. If not using Trinity, you can use a multiple projectile support and take what you didn't pick from the previous step.
- Focal Points doesn't serve a large mechanical purpose. Just more damage and defence that you don't yet need in white maps.

Other notes:
If cold damage on gear isn't available, use Anger and balance Trinity on fire and lightning. Drop Determination and HoI. Pick up Arctic Armour, which is excellent before you get the full Brine King pantheon.
Pick up Quick Step to fill in gaps in Spell Suppr. on gear.
Resists should be easy to pick up through Abyss jewels if necessary.
Fairly socket starved because of need for Lifetap. (Reason why I don't pick up Votive Hoard on the Atlas tree.)

Priorities:
- Progression: Shaping the Mountain and Kirac missions.
- Essence: for crafting our bow.
- Ritual: to get a Blizzard Crown base.
- Abyss: to get jewels and lots of good uniques.
- Harbinger + Shaping the Valleys: neat package that should sustain each other fairly well.
- Endgame bosses: not yet filled in, but well positioned to pick what is needed.
