PoE Occultist, Hex builds without Mageblood

I thought i was fairly capped for endgame content but I can't do past Wave 20 simul, uber atziri (oneshot by every ability...), ubers, Feared, and die once in a while in juiced t16s. Did a 80% deli but 100% is out of reach. Oneshot every 5 seconds in rank500 tota (lucky I'm finished with all tota challenges for the league). Any advice on where to go from here with 40~ divs? Impending doom is supposed to be triggered on curse expiration, but it also works on curse overwrite. This feels... unintended to me so I wanted to make an "ethical" version of the build.
