The POE 'Ruthless With Gold" event starts in a few hours and whilst I expect it will be quite niche, it should also be a lot of fun. Ruthless is extremely stingy on loot, and while you'll be fine getting through the campaign other than one unexpectedly hard boss (Act 9, General Adus might take a few tries), you will need to build characters somewhat differently to in the base game.

Note this is not complete and has basically no gear equipped. This is because in Ruthless you need to be flexible on the tree. If I get an outstanding Amethyst Ring drop, I might well drop the chaos resist cluster.

Gear will be life/resist gear for quite a while.

Notes on reservations are included in the notes section of the POB.

Endgame we'll be using a 4 link Bane and a 4 link second chaos DOT skill, possibly Soulrend. 5 and 6 are stretch goals.

Early in the video there's footage of the tree with one extraneous point that's since been removed.

Flasks: Flasks I'll be using one Quicksilver, one Granite, one Jade, one life and one mana to start with. This will be subject to change. One of these will be freeze removal/immunity, one bleed/CB immunity and one will be +% evasion. Everything else on suffixes is a bonus.
