PoE Divine Ire, Templar builds

My favourite skill, been playing it for years and felt like sharing it. Max true attack & spell block, can freeze pinnacle bosses, fairly good defensive for a build that stands still and can ramp damage up to 4-5 million numbers once you start getting better gear.

Hello Reddit. I'm a big lover of Divine Ire and a SSF only enjoyer. I've been playing Divine Ire almost exclusively since it was added to the game, theres just something about building around a huge beam that has the possibility to deal a lot of damage in one hit. So i've recently spent a lot of time making my magnum opus Divine Ire build for SSF. And i think im quite happy with what i've come up with; Thoughts and elaborations. Initial thoughts: 1. No guide, and not much currency right now so I'm sure it's janky. 2. DI charge time is reeeeeeally annoying when facing AOE ele dmg which blows the totems away. Thinking of switching to Arc Totems to counteract this- good idea or bad? 3. Tried to go 1H/Shield but the Staff block nodes were easier to reach. Mistake on my end?

Build is really, really fun, but also very weak damage against bosses while also being a glass cannon. The clear, even in T14 maps, was actually pretty ok. Main problem is the amount of investment into damage, Armour, and Life (scaling a lot off of Strength) only to find that it's not enough for either damage or survivability. Likely held back on the focus on primarily scaling damage via Strength, physical damage, and elemental damage (all kinds thanks to conversion, especially Fire though), since all my damage is affected by these types. Perhaps with looking at other Strength stacking builds,

PoB: So earlier I posted a cursory question of whether energy blades will be good for this build because of Battlemage on the Inquisitor. It looks like it should be a pretty solid transition build once I get a stormfire. And Energy Blades should be a decent boost in dps, but I'm not sure if it'll be worth it because of the loss to es. I've been toying with the idea for a while because I think it would be funny to do, and the 20% life regen is pretty good incentive. So far what I have is a Divine Ire Inquisitor that self hits with scold's bridle and converts that to cold self damage then uses auxium + agnostic + replica reckless defense for a 3 second self freeze and then uses kaom's roots for the ability to move. can someone let me know if the idea is viable??? Title. &x200B; PoB &x200B; I am looking into starting our private league with a build something like this, going hybrid life + ES because of Pious Path, PoB is set to pretty trash gear except the axe is around 400DPS.
