agentyoda's Notes
Half of my build posts have been meme builds, experimental stacking builds, and thematic builds which didn't really achieve end-game content. But I'm glad to say that, after a lot of experimentation and researching other successful builds, I've finally made a thematic (and somewhat meme-y) build that can clear end-game content, and can do so with high potential bossing damage (even if it can be squishy and is very expensive).
So may I present a Crusader-themed build, which is a Divine Ire Consecrated Path Battlemage's Cry Absolution Fanaticism Divine Inquisitor, dual stacking Strength and Intelligence for high Critical Strike Chance scaling, for Life/Energy Shield hybrid defenses, for Garb of the Ephemeral, and for scaling attribute mods.

As you can tell in the above video, the build (even at a lower level, lacking a good amount of the Life and STR/INT investment it should have) can clear T16 pretty easily and basically insta-phased the boss (though I also quickly died right after that—it's pretty squishy as-is). I insta-phased Izaro, as well, in Uber Lab by switching weapons to The Annihilating Light and pre-charging my Divine Ire.
That being said, it was very expensive just to get to this state (40ex), so it's really not even remotely viable as a league starter or even as a 'good' build to switch into—this much investment will probably yield a stronger build for other builds. The fun of this build is not in its meta strength, but in creating a very, very thematic build (all holy abilities synergizing off one another) with an interesting playstyle, and utilizing Garb of the Ephemeral, which is really only used by Animate Guardian nowadays.

###
Gameplay style:
- Cast Battlemage's Cry
- Use Consecrated Path 4 times to stack Fanaticism charges
- Once you enter Fanaticism, stop and cast Divine Ire.
(Optional: once Fanaticism begins, you can switch to another thematic weapon, The Annihilating Light—the Triple Elemental Damage staff—to gain millions more burst damage)
Rinse and repeat.
Divinity buff from Garb of the Ephemeral will activate periodically (if you're constantly doing this rotation, you'll get it halfway through the 2nd Consecrated Path strike window, halfway through the 4th Divine Ire burst window, and so on).
###
Possible future improvements to look out for:
- Ways to make this build cheaper (dual Strength/Intelligence stacking is very expensive, along with the Divine Ire specialized helm and +4/+5 Spell and Lightning (or Physical) main hand weapon)
- Ways to improve offensive/defensive synergy (as the amount of investment required for Strength/Intelligence stacking, while it does lend to Life/Energy Shield scaling, does not lend itself to any other defensive layers)
- Synergy between Fanaticism charges/uptime and Divinity charges/uptime (both being 4 charges/4 second uptime would be great, for example, or Divinity being 8 charges/8 seconds)
###
Final thoughts:
As a meme build, this became a surprisingly fun and delightful build to play with very high damage scaling; that being said, the squishiness absent a high character level and massive investment means its painful up to that point.
Since 'up to that point' includes all of leveling and a large amount of mapping, this means you suffer most of the time playing the build, so it's only fun as a late league project to switch to for fun.
But it is fun, and I'm glad I made this 'meme' build, if for no other reason than to prove such a gameplay style and thematic build can do well.
Overall, I'm glad that my meme Crusader build has finally been triumphant!
