PoE Reap builds without Cast On Critical Strike, Charged Mines, Efficacy, Trickster

Build Philosophy I haven't played my favorite ailment builds in a while - ignite. Chieftain is much more tanky than Elementalist, with less damage. Here's a Pob PoB dps : 13.9 millions. With vaal Reap : 18.84 millions. Build gets 93% phys takes as fire with 87% fire resist. No clusters and no hard to get unique or super expensive rolls. The PoB uses +1 levels +2 aoe Cloak of flames, but you can very easily get one of these corrupts instead of both and loose 20% damage. All skills are on Lifetap. I've been theorycrafting this Chaos Reap Pathfinder. Never played Reap before and not seen anyone do this so have no reference. I'm wondering if this in general is just a bad idea or if I'm missing some very strong tech. I think the life regen is way too low to sustain Reap but struggling to push it higher. The dps is a bit too low for me for this budget, unless Reap overlaps and I'd consistently be hitting each target with 2-3 Reaps and thus putting the dps in the 15-20m dps range. Hey there, i always wanted to make a functioning build around [[Disintegrator]], but never tried it or stumbled across a build that i wanted to try. With how Disintegrator works (a lot of flat added phys damage), i thought going the known Exsanguinate / Reap approach should probably yield the best damage and gameplay feeling with chaining Exsanguinate. That much is in fact true. But the sheer investment to handle the phys degen even as Guardian is staggering.
