First time hearing about Reap?
---------------------------------------
Hey exiles! For those who are new to my channel, I'm like the only person who makes Reap builds. I used to make lots of different versions so feel free to check those if you want to learn how these different builds work.
These builds were meta in 3.18. Those videos combined got over 150k views LOL.
- Outdated guides / If you're a pro player, fix the trees / check gems etc. and play these right now! -

3.22 New Version
----------------------
I initially created Fire Reap as Marauder / Chieftain in 3.18 patch. But they butchered Chieftain ascendancy in 3.22 Ancestor patch so I decided to fix that build and try it on Templar/Inquisitor.
And it obviously worked :D Inquisitor is already one of the best spellcaster characters in the game. He's also super powerful with mageblood at higher budgets cause of his high dps potential and tankiness.
You can lower some defenses and push at least 30million more dps but I like being very tanky so i'm not gonna do that. Feel free to mess with the talent tree if you know what you're doing.
Final note, I've noticed there are like 6 people who actually plays Berserker Reap right now in 3.22 so feel free to check poeninja if you're interested in that.
Build concept
-----------------
-> Reap -> Physical spell -> This particular build is fire based so need fire conversion -> Avatar of fire(50%) + Fire mastery(40%) + Gloves prefix(20-25%) = 100% physical to fire conversion
-> Reap deals overlapping damage when using Awakened Spell Cascade support gem -> If you want to do more mapping, consider getting AoE nodes or cluster jewels.
(One note about AoE -> If you get too much AoE nodes, you lose boss dps cause Reaps won't be overlapping after certain point. I haven't gotten any AoE nodes cause my main goal is to farm Ubers and 100%deli.)
-> Build also uses Fire conversion as a defensive mechanic. If you're new to the concept, here's how that works;
Sublime Vision unique jewel -> 30% of Cold and Lightning Damage taken as Fire Damage while affected by Purity of Fire
Lethal Pride Rakiata -> 50% of Cold and Lightning Damage taken as Fire Damage
Dawnbreaker shield -> 20% of Cold and Lightning Damage taken as Fire Damage (MAX roll needed or build won't work! You'll die xD )
These total makes 100% of Cold and Lightning Damage taken as Fire Damage so we can actually focus only on fire resistance. Your cold and lightning resistances can be at minus values, those 2 aren't important.
Sublime vision jewel also prevents you from using Auras other than Purity of Fire. So this build actually misses important auras like Zealotry, Haste, Vitality and more. If you have an aurabot friend, you'll wreak havoc!
-> What about physical damage taken? This character doesn't have much armour and still is unkillable whaaaat?
I also converted physical damage taken to fire damage, if you can get at least 80% conversion, you don't need any armour. Path of exile's armour calculation is also super weak so armour overall is a bad stat
compared to damage conversion and using resistances as a defensive layer.
Long story short -> Convert physical damage taken to fire resistance -> Become unkillable against physical damage cause armour is a shit stat in Path of exile
Dawnbreaker shield -> (10-20)% physical damage taken as fire damage
Cloak of flame unique body armour -> 40% physical damage taken as fire damage ( 1chaos body armour on a mageblood build wohooo! )
Lethal pride -> You need to find a good number on Lethal pride to get some 5% physical damage taken as fire damage. Use POB's "Find Timeless Jewel" application to find yourself a good one.
Rare helmet -> Eater of worlds implicit & Prefix Bench craft -> Get at least 14% physical damage from hits taken as fire damage "total"
Watcher's eye -> Purity of fire modifier -> (6-10)% physical damage from hits taken as fire damage
Not sure if you've noticed but final 2 items(helmet and watcher's eye) actually grants conversion for only "hit" damage. So we don't actually have that high conversion against physical dot damage. Not that it matters lol.
I'm pretty sure most of you people actually learned this right now. There are also similar statements against other types of damage conversions. You learn something every day <3
-> Because we only care about fire resistance, gotta push that to 90%.
Purity of fire + Aura effect (talent tree, reservation mastery , high rolled Sublime vision, tattoos )
Tattoo of the Ngamahu Makanga -> +1 max fire resistance, you can use multiple
Searing exarch Boots implicit -> +1/2 max fire resistance
Leadership's Price amulet -> +3 max fire resist at max roll (We don't care about cold and lightning resist rolls so this amulet is actually super cheap for this build)
Barbarism notable on talent tree -> +1 max fire res
-> Build still needs chaos resistance to survive that damage type, try to put some on your items. Consider using tattoos if you really care about getting capped chaos res(Only recommended for Simulacrum farming)
-> Build is not completely elemental ailment immune, but we have some from different sources;
Freeze immunity comes from Arctic Armour buff
Shock immunity comes from Tempest Shield buff
Try crafting chill immunity on your boots prefix
Fire doesn't hurt us so no need for ignite immunity
-> Shall I get Spell suppression somehow?
Why you need that? This is not hardcore. Also does it look like this build needs more spell protection? Bitch pls xD
You still get Brittle / Scorch / Sap in Simulacrum but you're so tank, you won't notice those. Consider using "Reduced Crit damage taken" tattoos if you're planning to farm simulacrum with this build.
-> Glancing Blows block
Extra mitigation against both attack and spell damage. You can get more spell block chance from talent tree or cluster jewels but it's waste of points imo. Build is already near unkillable.
-> Explaining the amulet "Leadership's Price"
This amulet let's you apply all 3 elemental ailments (brittle, scorch, sap) with any damage type. You do NOT need to deal 3 different elemental damage types.
This build only deals fire damage but even with that, you can apply brittle and sap(which are normally comes from cold and lightning damage). That's why this amulet is so much powerful.
For this to work , the highest attributes on the character need to be equal. For this build, they are INT and STR.
Use tattoos to lower the higher attribute, fix your mageblood by using Blessed orbs and Intrinsic catalysts.
Tattoos that are useful for the build
---------------------------------------------
Use tattoos on STR / INT nodes to balance those attributes so your amulet actually works. STR and INT must be equal or build won't work!
