PoE Glacial Cascade, Cold builds

This character is a solid all around character and I would say is absolutely league start viable. Keep in mind however you will need to do some things differently but it can absolutely be played without any special gear already lined up. I don't really do "leveling trees" or etc but I would recommend you level up with spark and switch to Glacial Cascade at lv 28. Spark will be faster to hit maps but it is important for you to get practice with GC so you can understand how it feels and plays. I would recommend this character for anyone looking for a solid all around build that is completely of

Inspired by Krip (I stumbled upon his pre-league build prep and thought his glacial idea was well structured). about 9m DPS right now. Happy with the damage. And so much room to improve from there. Some big upgrades in the pipeline:- a big chest - with spell crit to get rid of the crit chance gem and switch to crit multi gem- big gloves (double dmg mod during leech + chilled enemies)- a double watcher eye (zealotry + hatred are less than 10div)- I still don't have any lab enchants on any piece (ele pen, glacial dmg or maybe a mana reservation)- I am thinking about transitioning to Squire ulti

First time theory crafting a character, and wanted to try this combination just for fun, so i spent some time on PoB trying to see if it would work out. Thought the combination of melee (mark on hit) and spell damage might be interesting, though the damage might be reduced. Shock and freeze would be fun as well. Ideally the Herald of Ice will help with the clearing of maps. I would aim for the character to reach red maps, and so any buffs to survivability, damage, or improvements to the build in general would be great. PoB: Than
