PoE The Gull builds

Made myself a build I'll be leaguestarting so I wanted to share it with you guys. It's a strength and accuracy stacking berserker with blunderbore and gull to make mapping smooth and second sight from timeless jewel to get enough crit to play blitz comfortably. Any feedback is welcome!

Both Bane and Cold DoT Occultists greatly benefit from the new Vaal Caress Gloves, as they run 4L Vaal gems. Bane === For Bane, Vaal Blight receives hefty buffs from running Vaal Caress: Let's say you get these at level 32 (very unlikely), you have Vaal Blight Level 10, Void Manip Level 8, Efficacy Level 8 and Swift Affliction Level 1. You're a Witch with a standard Bane tree (Atrophy, Whispers of Doom, Melding and Arcane Expanse). Hey guys, recently thought about possible offmeta league starters and came up with this Chaos BV, heavily inspired by the trending Cold BV variants. Build has 60% chance to explode ennemies and gull+blunderbore for fast mapping, as well as badge of the brotherhood for high withering step uptime to have it up for almost every pack and get the wither damage multiplicator for the explosions too. The build has actually 3.5M dps with the current config even against sirus which seems pretty decent. Ive found two things a bit worrysome:

I made a thread here a little while back and got a lot of help from this sub-reddit. My little fireball build was turned around and made alive once again (sorta). I have since than continued to make improvements. Gear upgrades. Testing different uniques. But I feel as though I have invested alot of currency and time into this build and it still doesn't feel good. (I don't have a lot of time to play). As the title states. I've always had a thing for fireball and have wanted to make it work as self-cast. It's definitely not meta but I still gave it a shot. There isn't much currency put into this build and definitely room for improvement. I die ALOT. Like at least once or twice a map. I understand why I die. Mainly I'm not not running grace or determination even though I spec'ed into grace reservation on the tree. I don't have enough reserved mana so I could either save for enlighten 4 or drop a damage aura. And ultimately I don't have capped spell suppression

I don't really have any experience with making my own builds; I was interested in replaying the Strength Stacker that Zizaran originally made with Mahuxotl's Machination; with the build being both tanky and able to do a fair amount of damage with Vaal Ground Slam;. I wanted to use Blunderbore and The Gull with this to make use of shrines. I have tried referencing the PoB for the build and with some new items such as Melding I tried to make the build as tanky whilst also blocking. However, in doing so I know that I have avoided damage; after having a look I'm not too sure where I can path to t
