Non-crit: Still experimental, the chance to shock is low and it's missing Apex Mode to sustain intensity.

In this post, I will present the build I'm playing and it's mechanics, which can be used on any Archmage/Mana build. League started this build as Cobra Lash for the first weekend, switching to Tornado Shot when I got a Voltaxic Rift for 3div. This is a really good low-effort mapper and aesthetically pleasing to me. Enjoyed this build a lot, so ended up taking it to 100 whereas I would have switched off most of my league start characters by now. TL;DR - I think you can become very tanky as a living punching bag but have no idea how you would actually finish a map sometime before the league ends. I've been theorycrafting this Chaos Reap Pathfinder. Never played Reap before and not seen anyone do this so have no reference. I'm wondering if this in general is just a bad idea or if I'm missing some very strong tech. I think the life regen is way too low to sustain Reap but struggling to push it higher. The dps is a bit too low for me for this budget, unless Reap overlaps and I'd consistently be hitting each target with 2-3 Reaps and thus putting the dps in the 15-20m dps range. So, I was messing around youtube, and did not find any build using storm secrets. So i began messing around in POB i got this. Defences are shit, so any suggestions on how to be more than a wet noodle or any other changes. I'm levelling this build atm, so for now it's just a theorycraft. Thoughts on divergent lightning trap voltaxic rift occ?

That fact that ball lightning hits every 150ms has always made me think it would be an interesting applicator for poison, but given lightning damage didn't really have any good way to do that I forgot about it.... Until I saw the new Voltaic Rift. I was just fooling around in POB and with literally no gear whatsoever (5 empty gear slots right now with no cluster or jewels/flasks) it's looking very easy to break 1M dps with the rift and a few historically reasonably priced uniques.
