PoE Assassin, Melee builds

Doubts on the Split and Piercing Shots. Those points might be more useful elsewhere...

Here is the PoB: The Bv and Spectral helix are there to represent backups, I know the tree isn't correct for BV but it's easy to readjust it for that. I'm planning on starting out as spectral helix till I can get a redeemer chest with frenzy on hit. I purposefully put some of the configs a little lower because I think it will reflect a more accurate reality than perfect conditions. greetings! Since my first efforts at trying to create my own build have failed miserably, I feel the need to request your help in fixing this mess. I've played PoE a few leagues, years apart, and keep coming back and re-learning the game. I started off following a blade flurry build guide, but was underwhelmed by blade flurry and enjoyed reave a lot more. I realize reave generally is played by gladiator and a few other classes, and I don't see any Assassins on poe.ninja using reave this season. So, since level 50 i've been sort of trying to cobble together a build that works. I'm wondering if there is anything salvageable here or if I should stop trying to chart my own path and really just follow someone e

PoB: T16: So I made a Molten Strike Assassin with about 1-2 div investment that relies on Mantra of Flames buff stacks (which have to be edited into PoB) and specifically fortify (which gives 100 buffs regardless of cap), multiplied by Replica Last Resort. Damage is ok (1.4m melee dps and 1m per ball with 6 balls that are slowed to hit a single target well). At lvl 91 it can do T16s comfortably (with essesnces/strongboxes and harbingers on my tree not causing too much of an issue) and Maven Atlas Invitations, I haven't tested it on

Took a Poison Spec Helix build from poe ninja and converted it into a possible league start. I like the idea of utilizing blind, elusive, and the crit swift affliction. Looking for feedback on how to make this a bit tankier.
