So I made a Molten Strike Assassin with about 1-2 div investment that relies on Mantra of Flames buff stacks (which have to be edited into PoB) and specifically fortify (which gives 100 buffs regardless of cap), multiplied by Replica Last Resort. Damage is ok (1.4m melee dps and 1m per ball with 6 balls that are slowed to hit a single target well).
At lvl 91 it can do T16s comfortably (with essesnces/strongboxes and harbingers on my tree not causing too much of an issue) and Maven Atlas Invitations, I haven't tested it on any big bosses, but I don't think it will be a strong bosser. It has great recovery due to overcap leech, petrified blood and recoup rings and has almost capped spell supression (my next aim for gear/skill points). It's got some evasion and armour (not much) and hit avoidance from Elusive scaling and a touch of block from dual wielding. It's reasonably fast for mapping.
The weaknesses for this build is probably DoT/ground effects being melee and it doesn't have much of a mechanism for dealing with bleed/poison. My flasks are terrible and need improvement although with all the crits and Rotgut they stay up almost permanently.
Other cool tech this uses is Abhorent Interrogation and wither from withering touch linked to Law of the Wilds (and withering step) and static strike for onslaught/cull/behead.
I'd love to hear your opinions on this build and if there are any things you can think of to get it a little better.
