PoE Arcanist Brand, Brand Recall builds without Perfect Crime

So I was thinking about what spells would benefit from the Brand Recall tech that was brought forth by a random redditor. Overall, with \~1s brand recall and 7 brands, it's equivalent of casting a spell an additional 7 times a second, but spells are triggered on top of you, have less aoe, proj range and fire in random directions(tested this briefly, not sure). Most spells would be very clunky to use, we need specific proprieties: Triggerable by Arcanist Brand. Benefit from pseudo cast speed/burst. Good coverage despite drawbacks. Something like Eye of Winter, Arc or Forbidden Rite woul

PoB: Exsanguinate + Arcanist Brand From what I saw, Exsanguinate doesn't seem like an amazing spell to self-cast. Spell Totems seem like the obvious solution, but I think Arcanist Brands will provide the smoothest playstyle. Exsanguinate doesn't seem to suffer from its downsides (a lot). Question: Is the DoT debuff affected by the damage reduction from Arcanist Brand? I can see it going both ways depending on how one interprets the wording. If not, this could turn out godly. I've spent some time theory crafting this, if it works I'll be very happy, it has 8k phys ehp, the items are fairly idealized but most rolls are set to average since I dont want to plan around 6x t1 rares, having the right mid tier rolls is enough for me on most numbers. Hopefully this isn't as far fetched as I'm worried it is, the jewels are probably very expensive but there are a lot of rolls in those categories that should increase the dps in similar ways. Criticism and tips are very much appreciated.
