So I was thinking about what spells would benefit from the Brand Recall tech that was brought forth by a random redditor. Overall, with ~1s brand recall and 7 brands, it's equivalent of casting a spell an additional 7 times a second, but spells are triggered on top of you, have less aoe, proj range and fire in random directions(tested this briefly, not sure). Most spells would be very clunky to use, we need specific proprieties:

• Triggerable by Arcanist Brand.
• Benefit from pseudo cast speed/burst.
• Good coverage despite drawbacks.

Something like Eye of Winter, Arc or Forbidden Rite would be decent. But there's a hidden gem that works wonders with it: POPCORN SRS.

Popcorn SRS is perfect: Auto-aiming bombs that benefit from "cast speed", don't care about the drawbacks, and already use a "dead link" with Unleash.

The benefits would be a more auto-bomber-ish style, damage uptime and more overall explosions (no idea if it would't work due to srs taking too long to explode, never played popcorn srs or minions in general.)

I grabbed Kay's guide, copied the "early game" items, some gem links and made a similar tree with a Hierophant and brand nodes. I also tested it with lvl 1 gems on ledge, on a character with just minion instability and some brand recall cdr for a feel and actually see if it works. SRSs count stabilizes at around 9 with it if that says anything. Necro is probably still better despite a 1.6s cooldown on brand recall.

This is by no means an actual build, just a concept: https://pobb.in/3txsb_mWlgdz I calculated srs summoned per second for dps count. Kay's PoB had 4.4 srs/s but had 6x on full dps. No idea what is correct.
