PoE Frostbolt builds without Ice Nova, Ice Nova of Frostbolts

DISCLAIMER: This isn't meant to be a guide but a proof of concept. While I did play this character straight from day 1 of the league, I don't really recommend it early because it's a bit clunky before Divergent Berserk and Lethal Pride appeared on trade which was around day 3, and also the playstyle is really active. Buffs to self-cast this league made me once again reconsider the viability of Fanaticism, a buff intended to be used for self-casters provided by Instruments of Zeal from the Inquisitor ascendan

I have a stupid dream about playing self cast Frostbolt without Icenova. I am trying to make PoB but it looks like very weak. 1. Does this build can be significantly improved? x2 at least 2. If no.. Is there any good way to deal with my elemental resistances if I take The Annihilating Light or only from items and tree?

Edit: Updated without spellsinger and with a cwdt defensive setup. I'll update the new pob, but this is where I have reached. 1. 4.5k health 2.3k es 500 es regen 2. 27k armour 87% phys dmg mit 3. ailment immunity 4. 60% spell block with glancing blows 5. 82% crit chance 430% mult ( can get 100% by using inc crit chance instead of intensify, and it'll save 6-7 points) 6. 1.8m sirius dps with 3 intensity stacks and every buff up (assuming 4x mult from spell echo) Someone posted their pob for this build ( I'll look up who it was) and said this was a dps focused version. Hello guys, I got this idea for an Occultist build inspired by the elemental dot buffs and the new chaos mastery revealed. I worked on this idea a few days ago, but the new chaos mastery reveal seems a pretty good fit for this build so, I included it in my build. Ok, a few words first. I want to point out that this build is not what someone would call "optimal", but it combines various features to create a beautiful result and what I would call a fun playing experience. If you 're fan of Torchlight, Grim Dawn etc. then you know what I'm talking about. So, what are the elements of the build?

Hi folks, so atm I´m PoBi´ing an Occultist and was thinking how good the defense layers in the title would work together. Malediction and Frigid Wake: 20% reduced Damage from hits Petrified Blood: 40% prevented (ofc there is the dot) Mom + Eldritch battery: 30% of dmg is taken from energy shield Fortify: 20% less dmg taken from hits On paper that sounds pretty good, but in reality I have no idea how this works all together. Can anybody help with the math?? Thx for your time mates! this is the POB so far, if u want to have a look
