As the title says, I want a build that can one-shot legion. I came across this build, but I'm not sure if it's bait or not. Would this build be worth investing into, or should I look elsewhere? I assume it wouldn't make a big difference whether I have a mageblood or not.

DISCLAIMER: This isn't meant to be a guide but a proof of concept. While I did play this character straight from day 1 of the league, I don't really recommend it early because it's a bit clunky before Divergent Berserk and Lethal Pride appeared on trade which was around day 3, and also the playstyle is really active. Hello guys, I got this idea for an Occultist build inspired by the elemental dot buffs and the new chaos mastery revealed. I worked on this idea a few days ago, but the new chaos mastery reveal seems a pretty good fit for this build so, I included it in my build. Ok, a few words first. I want to point out that this build is not what someone would call "optimal", but it combines various features to create a beautiful result and what I would call a fun playing experience. Hi folks, so atm I´m PoBi´ing an Occultist and was thinking how good the defense layers in the title would work together. Malediction and Frigid Wake: 20% reduced Damage from hits Petrified Blood: 40% prevented (ofc there is the dot) Mom + Eldritch battery: 30% of dmg is taken from energy shield Fortify: 20% less dmg taken from hits On paper that sounds pretty good, but in reality I have no idea how this works all together. I'm currently running frost bolt/ice nova, and the damage is good enough (deathless a5 sirus was easy peasy), but the clear is mediocre despite huge AoE because the spell combo requires a significant amount of standing in place. Additionally when things get hectic it's really easy to miss casting a frost bolt which can end up with me either casting ice nova with no frost bolts (which is much lower dps) or casting ice nova on frost bolts that are already really far from me (frequently resulting in dying). Frostbolt ice nova battlemage seems like a really fun direction to take the new ascendancy, but there seem to be a lot of limiting factors on it in either the 2h or wander varieties. 2H - this seems best as a pure ice nova build, since pledge of hands is very nice, but cwc cyclone seems unappealing since cwc can be awkward with charging fanaticism. Snap casting cyclone every second seems very tedious.
