PoE Elementalist, Golem Commander builds

I have a stupid dream about playing self cast Frostbolt without Icenova. I am trying to make PoB but it looks like very weak. 1. Does this build can be significantly improved? x2 at least 2. If no.. Is there any good way to deal with my elemental resistances if I take The Annihilating Light or only from items and tree?

Just now I reached level 95 and killed most endgame bosses (missing maven and uber elder). The Idea was to use Phantasmal Lightning Tendrils and scaling crit, cast speed and tankyness via golem effect. With the help of +3 minions level helmet, anomalous golems and the new % quality amulet I receive a lot of damage and defence. They capped negative resistance at 200% but resistance penetration is a different calculation AFAIK. What if we stack Omniscience through the nose and used Mjolnir to deliver Arc? I've put together a quite well rounded Lightning Tendrils build, got some passable defenses and regeneration as well as pretty acceptable damage with 2x6 links (Tendrils + Orb of Storms). I've put in 60% more multiplier in the general config which is a pretty conservative estimate on what the damage will be in this league. With the removal of the Orb of Storms internal CD and the sick buff to the main skill I think this can work out quite well. Hey, Like a lot of you i've been very interested in creating a selfcast build this league. I've been wanting to try out a lightning skill and after testing it a bit on standard i quite like the feeling of crackling lance, so i've set out to make a build for it. I've ended up making two very similar builds. One for Elementalist and one for Inquisitor. Ele seems to have higher damage but Inquisitor is probably a lot tankier with consecrated ground. I saw a comment somewhere about a fire trap ignite build. So I made a quick POB: It seems decent with the old numbers. The dot will be increased by roughly 33% (2934.9 -> 4170.7), while the ignite portion will hopefully stay the same, with the 28% nerf and the base damage compensation. Any suggestions for improvements? I tried scaling both parts at the same time with: fire damage, burning damage and fire dot multi.
