Post is a run of a video of me mapping on my Tempst Shield character with Anomalous Tempest Shield(10% quality gives +1 chain) in a perfect Crest of Desire(+50% quality) with the Lab Enchant(+3 chain) and having +1 chain from Lightning Mastery to hit a total of 12 chains. Max would be 14 with Gloomfang and Mjolner but those don't fit. PoB says it should be peaking around 950k per hit when enemies are on chilled areas.

Overall, build just feels terrible because it relies on being hit which can be sporadic depending on enemy AI. Could probably get the damage up more by going Pain Attunement with Petrified Blood but I invested as much as I wanted to. The purpose of the build was just to see if I could. Other thought were replacing rings with life gain on spell hit, replacing gloves with just flat life, replacing boots with more QoL and swapping around jewels would likely improve some of my defenses.

But the biggest problem is that there is no useful MTX for Tempest Shield so that's a deal breaker.
