PoE Chieftain, League Starter builds without Cast when Stunned

Act 1 Gems: Damage Skills: Holy Flame Totem (Lvl 4) - Added Fire Damage - Ruthless (Lvl 2) Ancestral Protector - Added Fire Damage - Ruthless Auras and Utility Steelskin, Precision, Vitality, Leap Slam (Dash Prior) Act 2 Gems: Supports to grab: Faster Attacks Support, Culling Strike Support, Elemental Damage with Attacks, Melee Physical Damage Auras: Herald of Ash, Herald of Purity (probably better) Act 3 Gems: THE BIG BOI, ANCESTRAL WARCHI

First things first, this is NOT MY BUILD. I saved the POB last league and cannot remember who made it. This build has the advantages of being very good DPS with totems leaching damage for you (which is huge). You just lay down your totems and dodge boss mechanics. Just prior to league start, I theorycrafted a couple of builds: a Hexblast Occultist and a RF/Searing Bond Cheiftan. At he last minute I decided to go with the Cheiftan as the defences looked more solid, and I couldn't be happier. This has been the smoothest, easiest league start I've experienced, and one of the strongest builds I've played in my 1200 hours in POE. Thus far, I've invested a grand total of 25c on this build, and 22c of that was on the amulet. Close to 1m DPS with pretty average gear and cheap-as-mud uniques

Something im probably gonna start unless i find good energy blade build rare items with life > str > resist > regen incursion staff with fire multi, and burning dmg has good scaling options if you would wanna push it further than start with it

For the RF enthusiast I am excited to see the passive tree bring so many goodies for us. I'd Like to share the skill tree I whipped up and was wondering what ppl thought/ what others are doing for our beloved burning man. I believe that going chieftain is the play being able to so easily hit 90% max fire res. Turning phys hits to fire will help makes us much tankier and the ascendancy provides a good amount of damage. Leveling (Not tested) -Create a witch and level it to for grab flamewall and arcane surge -With Chieftain us Fireball + Arcane Surge to level 4 -Use Holy Flame totem + added fire damge + Combustion and fireball with arcane surge - At level 12 grab searing bond + combustion with HFT - Craft a fire damage wand with an alteration + ruby ring and magic wand or scepter as soon as possible. -Be on the look out for high physical dps bows. -Switch to Artillery ballista after library 2 reds 1 green or 2 greens 1 red Artillery ballista + Elemental damage with Attacks + Added Fire Damage or Vici
