PoE Archmage, Pledge of Hands builds

Hello everyone! I am currently playing a self-cast Archmage Ball Lightning Hierophant. The damage is okay and sufficient for general T16 alch & go mapping. However, when I turn up the notch a little (more juice) or try pinnacle bosses the lack of physical mitigation really shows itself. I can complete most tasks that I set my sights on, it's just that I'll get randomly one-shotted and die along the way, losing a few portals. I'd like to add a little more tankiness to eventually make progress towards level 96 while also being able to moderately juice my maps. With that many unique items

I just wanted to post about my build idea and tested since I think its really cool. I've tested Hydrosphere with spell echo and can confirm that the final repeat does have a 100% crit chance and when using it with greater spell echo it also inherits the extra aoe and more damage multiplier. Scion Archmage: This is a (not that good) pob for an archmage scion that I used the interaction with. Guard skill: Arcane Cloak is offensive, Immortal Call is defensive. If you get Jugg or maybe the Deflection node, End Charges should be easily supplied so IC's cost should be largely negligible. Archmage: Fireball used because of high damage effectiveness. Cast speed is bypassed via CWDT. AoE is unnecessary because this is a bossing setup (though adds might mess this up, but Fireball has a little AoE iirc). I think I'd share my most successful build this league, which I actually started with. I had an absolute blast playing this build, so if some of you guys looking for inspiration maybe it's the one you need. I've done all content in the game including Awakener 8 The Feared and 100% Delirious maps (this one is not so comfortable, but doable). Simulacrums are cakewalks. Everything in maps dies like it's nothing. Sometimes she kills map bosses without me noticing it. In her current state she is worth around 100-120 exalts, but she can work with much much less (it's my league starter after all). S
