PoE Spell Totem, Cold, Duration builds without Mageblood

I started the league off with Aer0 cobra lash build and I'm barely in to maps but it is feeling just really awful. Mapping is just really painful. Cannot even attempt Affliction stuff because especially my single-target is abysmal. I know I'm missing uber lab and only have 4 link and shit gear etc. but I've played enough of this game I know something is seriously wrong and getting a few small upgrades is not gonna cut it. This is the one build I played this league to 40/40. It was very fun and definitely kept me playing when I was on the fence. The PoB is of my current character. Typically I get to a point where it's "enough" to cruise through challenges and I stop prioritizing build investment, so I'm pretty confident it has room for improvement as-is (e.g. helmet w/-chaos res, watcher's eye, faster ignites synth staff, +3 corrupted chest), and definitely has room for improvement if you want to go more glass cannon. I know that the upcoming changes in 3.16 are going to change everything but this is the tankiest CI build I 've ever made so far and wanted to share. Damage is pretty low though. Advice on how I could improve it is welcome. Here's the pob link:
