Start maps:
Get - mark of submission + bitter dream
from skill tree: life and mana on kill against cursed enemies 2 points.
get bleed blood immune flask on flask.
At around lvl 75, get the totem cluster 5 points. (the duration and life on totems is invaluable in tier10+maps)
Play bitter dream to around 82-85ish...
when you can buy a 6L staff with BBRG atleast, respec to staff-tree.
This gives you around 45-70% spell block/25%attack block + alot more dmg.
remove aoe support from herald of ice
add frostshield
add assassins mark
add clarity rank 4-8 (sweetspot is when you can channel winter orb and not loose mana)
Totem winter orb setup is x15 assuming 3 totems alive all proj hitting (which they do at 2.7 aoe)
Winter orb setup is x5 assumingall proj hitting (which they do at 2.7 aoe)

(added ligthning, chance to poison really bad but if you have an extra green or blue link GGGB or BBBG use it.)
Do not get:
Conc effect (you need aoe)
elemental focus (you need to freeze)
controlled destruction (you need to trigger elemental overload)
