PoE Mageblood, Bossing, Simulacrum builds

This is my current pob: Building around the OP SST crucible mod with conversion to cold and eternity shroud to add extra as chaos. Add Heatshiver into the mix for another insane damage multiplier. Defense is mostly "Kill everything before it kills you", but with Glancing Blows from the shield + spell suppression combined with trickster es leech, the build is fairly comfy.. The weaknesses are definitely degens (when there's nothing around to leech from) and attack hits. I'm only at 60% attack block so it's possible for multiple hits to get through my ES and kill me

I commented in a thread about my CI Poison Spark build the other day, and there seemed to be some interest about my approach to what is quite a popular build this league, so I thought I'd make a post. My philosophy is that I want to hit the DOT cap, with good Wither uptime, and after that I focus on hit damage and defenses, namely in the amount of a high ES pool. At 10.31 casts per second (11.27 with Smite active), the build is extremely mobile and generally hits the DOT cap in 2-3 seconds, depending on the arena. Saw somebody post their Poison Winter Orb build earlier today and thought I'd share the Poison Ball Lightning I made. It's more or less identical to Poison Spark, both in tree and gameplay feel, except for bossing when I swap gems and rings. You (probably) shouldn't play this? It does feel a tiny bit worse than Poison Spark in doing most things. But it was a nice change of pace for a bit, and I have a strong suspicion that as long as you have an Original Sin, you could get Ball Lightning going farther on a smaller budget than Spark. Helmet is the trickiest to recreate, I dropped the base and farmed the enchant myself. The enchant is a lot of damage and the phys as ele fracture is a lot of tankiness. Could build around just one to start though. GMP is probably a good link if you have a different enchant, it also helps with LGoH because of the extra projectiles. You can get 20-22% phys as ele on the watcher's eye if you lose the damage mod and run a purity. The dawnbreaker is also not max roll on the corruption, so you could make back the phys as ele there potentially. Probably would drop precision in that case and get c
