PoE Vortex, Elementalist builds

I feel stuck on my build idk how to progress in , can someone plz help me for understand how to make this build maybe a little tanky ? or just better ? thank you!

I'm following TriPolarBear Cold Dot Elementalist build, i'm clearing quite fast (i guess) even t16 maps. Problem is that sometimes i just got oneshotted and i don't know why, even in T12/14, so i keep losing xp and it's been more than a week now and i'm still at 93. Am i missing something crucial? Thanks for help!

I'm liking the playstyle but I'm having a hard time planning on upgrades beyond better weapons/amulet. I also thought about switching to ignite vortex, using proliferation in the glove. The main thing is: What tips to improve my damage (I wanted to have something around 6\~7 million in guardians), and mainly, the movespeed (is it possible something around 120\~130%?). My current POB:

Leveling Tips Act 1 - 5 Rush Elemental Overload on skill tree, if needed pick up Health Mana nodes on right side of witch starter area, i go for life on top right first then branch left to templar area. Buy Minion damage / Infernal Legion support in Act1. Socket in Summon Skitterbots in Act 2. Also optional to level Spiritual Aid during leveling to boost both your and skitter DPS then respec out of it later. On lvl 28 equip 4L Vortex + Deadly Ailments + Cold to Fire + Ignite Prolif

Hi Exiles, I've been playing for a little over a week, having fun (struggling) to learn the basics of POE, and could use some advice. I've finally made it to red maps and think its time to upgrade my body armour which I've been wearing since Act 1. I'd like to buy a 6-link, but not sure what to invest in. I don't have any currency at the moment, but will be farming some this weekend and it would be great to have a goal in mind. Evening. It's been a pretty smooth transition from cold dot to vortex ignite in the mid game. I've got all my implicits set on boots and gloves. I'm 100 percent spell supressed. &x200B; I gotta level up (92 atm) but i'm getting my ass kicked in t16s &x200B; I think my issues lie with Block/Spell Block. I can't fit in temptest shield yet. &x200B; How to I get to block cap? I'm kind of at a lost on how to get there. Thanks for your advise. &x200B;

A couple of weeks ago I saw this showcase and was immediately hooked. I ended up changing quite a bit and this is the result of how far I could push it.
