They capped negative resistance at 200% but resistance penetration is a different calculation AFAIK. What if we stack Omniscience through the nose and used Mjolnir to deliver Arc? To that end, I made a tree which is as long as possible so that the Split Personality jewels at the very end deliver a real lot of Omniscience. Since Omniscience takes care of elemental resistances we can use all the suffixes for attributes and we certainly do that. Where we can, we sneak in a little increased attributes, too. Before the leaguestart, I planned a build around Stasis prison, before finding out how rare (and expensive) it would be. I'm still leaving it here in case it could help someone getting inspiration, since I don't believe I will be able to buy it this league, the next one, or ever. It's basically a build based around both CWC and CWDT. Basically, you run around using cyclone (because it's smooth). Config: Intimidate and negative resists is from Belt of the deciever+Eye of Malice (Animate guardian) Playing around with the resist-shredding capabilities of elementalist. Any thought? Anyone tried this? Is just Occulist better? Edit: My gripes with this concept are elemental ailments and the loss of something like The Stampede. But I consider doing this in softcore to switch things up abit.

I was looking into some wierd build ideas and actually found a very interesting concept here. Geofri's devetion Elemental Warding ability has an insane amount of base damage (2 to 3k physical damage) and auto converts it into a random element. As an elementalist all your damage can ignite. I threw this together quickly: The base items to get everything going is less then 15 chaos: 2 chaos for base weapon+prophecy 1 chaos for alpha howl (need the reduced mana reservation) 1 chaos for Rotblood ring 1 chaos for some life jewels with 1 damage mode, times 4 With just those items, 20/20
