






I was looking into some wierd build ideas and actually found a very interesting concept here. Geofri's devetion Elemental Warding ability has an insane amount of base damage (2 to 3k physical damage) and auto converts it into a random element. As an elementalist all your damage can ignite.
I threw this together quickly: The base items to get everything going is less then 15 chaos:

2 chaos for base weapon+prophecy
-
1 chaos for alpha howl (need the reduced mana reservation)

1 chaos for Rotblood ring
-
1 chaos for some life jewels with 1 damage mode, times 4
With just those items, 20/20 gems you already are looking at 630k ignite dps with a level 92 tree:
You use cyclone to proc EE (as long as you dont have any added fire damage) Elemental warding skill, and wave of conviction with cast while channeling.
This should give you very nice clear since elemental warding shoots out 16 piercing projectiles around you that travel more then a full screen away. With ignite prolif it should be able to clear more then a whole screen without a problem. And decent bossing since ignites deal constant damage.
After that theres tons of ways to improve/build the rest of your character. Some main suggestions/no-brainers:

Good cluster jewels almost double your dps (you can get 2 full sets).

Same for a shaper neck with gain physical damage as cold and lightning.

With an enlighten 4 you can drop the alpha howl.

Atziri's promise/Taste of hate/Cinderswallow Urn/Sins rebirth are all good flask option for damage flasks.

A lot of awakened gems options (Burning damage, Swift afflication, deadly ailments, and unbound ailments instead of added fire).

Transcendent mind in the top Witch gem socket
For the rest of gear there are ton of options, like:

A malachai's artificact so you coul save 3 points on your tree and pick up the gain physical as fire damage nodes (it would fuck up EE otherwise). Could use a thread of hope in the templar area as well to pick up the three large nodes to the left and the infused channeling node.

Devourding diadem with more reduced mana stacking so you could run more auras (adding hatred would be a nice damage bonus).

Abberaths hooves so you could drop ignite prolif for a better gem (dont know if there are many better
-
Farruls fur for frenzy charges; replica one for frenzy and endurance so you can drop all the points going down for instant warcry.

Emberwake for double ignites

Crab set for much better defenses
-
That new base head that adds cold damage
And much more. There are two guyes playing this build in ritual and they both use completely different gear set-ups (one uses rampage/HH with 4.5k total health, other one uses crab set with much higher healer total for a more defensive setup).
You can easily end up with 5m+ ignite dps and I wouldnt be surprised if you could push it to 10m+ with very good gear.
Whats everyone thoughts about it? And maybe some items that could be interesting I overlooked?
