PoE Cruelty, Projectile builds

I have since than continued to make improvements. Gear upgrades. Testing different uniques. So I have been trying to have an impaling build that ignites and use the blackflame ring. Blackflame ring for the exclusive reason of I like purple. So I was trying to figure out how to do it without sacrificing too much from one aspect or the other. Been using the weapon Paradoxica to try to mitigate that. As the title states. I've always had a thing for fireball and have wanted to make it work as self-cast. It's definitely not meta but I still gave it a shot. There isn't much currency put into this build and definitely room for improvement. I die ALOT. Like at least once or twice a map. I understand why I die. Hello Exiles, I found a broken mechanic from Jungroan, traps can work with mines, so when you detonate a mine, you will launch trap if linked with a trap, but you will say "wtf why you talking about traps and mines with Discharge" ? Hello bros, I'm trying my own build with aim to 24/40 this league. Spectral Helix is on the menu with Vanguard belt and champion as a class. So far so good - doing some low red maps, but I'm starting to have some issues going forward. The idea is to be really tanky (armour + evasion + some spell supp + fortify) and have enough dps to finish of lv 85 bosses. Budget is around 10 ex. I have wanted to play caustic arrow for a while now but it doesn't seem to do enough damage. I threw together this POB and it doesn't look promising: There's little gear, but even with expensive stuff I don't see it doing more than maybe 3 million DPS, and since its tankiness and speed isn't great, it doesn't seem worthwhile to play. Has anyone found success with Caustic Arrow?
