Thoughts on divergent lightning trap voltaxic rift occ?

That fact that ball lightning hits every 150ms has always made me think it would be an interesting applicator for poison, but given lightning damage didn't really have any good way to do that I forgot about it.... Until I saw the new Voltaic Rift. I was just fooling around in POB and with literally no gear whatsoever (5 empty gear slots right now with no cluster or jewels/flasks) it's looking very easy to break 1M dps with the rift and a few historically reasonably priced uniques. With the new Voltaxic Rift 100% lightning -> chaos conversion, occultist becomes interesting. This means profane bloom could help solve some of the mapping issues for me. Replica maloneys would be an easy way to sustain fanaticism (if it counts as you attacking). Other ascendancy options did not get added so damage could change. &x200B; Here is a POB of a build that utilizes templar. It's expensive, but it also shows the potential.
