Replica maloneys would be an easy way to sustain fanaticism (if it counts as you attacking). Other ascendancy options did not get added so damage could change.

Here is a POB of a build that utilizes templar. It's expensive, but it also shows the potential. I only included battle mage by changing voltaxic rift damage to spells damage. If Replica Maloneys triggers fanatics, this would be an excellent option.
