I'm working on upgrading my Skeleton Mage setup now that I have a real budget for upgrades. I have about 25 Ex in the bank and another 10-12 Ex worth of stuff I'm trying to sell for further upgrades. I started off following a leveling guide and now I'm trying to adjust to follow the more popular builds I see on POE Ninja but I know I should make some adjustments Current POB: Possible upgrades: Swap the belt for Darkness Enthroned and a couple of 20% minion damage if used recently jewels. Hello everyone, wanted to share my most tanky version of Mage Skeletons with the implementation of the new Melding of the Flesh for max 87 all res + CI (cause i hate chaos damge) The result is Massive defences layers CI , Purity of ice, Aegis Aurora, Determination, Definces Banner, Vile Bastion To see the max damage output you can change the 0% to 5% at the brittle effect in the config the build is not min maxed so alot of small things are not the best in slot or fully optimised... \notice that flasks and molten shell is not ticked\ have fun :) [

Main difference on other skeleton mages is that this build WILL use the new unique belt The Burden of Truth. Otherwise this is a mayorly sub-par and not swag build. I also managed to squeeze 5 auras: Defiance Banner, Determination, Purity of Elements, Zealotry and Tempest Shield. We DO lose Generosity on Zealotry, so it is slightly weaker than other Generous builds. This is my first time playing Skeleton Mages. I really like it. The only drawback is the slow walking speed, which can be upgraded to rare boots, but sacrificing +1 skele. My current POB: My build is nowhere great, but at 9 mil dps, 15 mil with Vaal it serves my purpose so far. I believe I have only spent less than 20 ex. Last night I hit 98, never been past 96 before and really feeling like I really want to push for 100. Running juiced Cemetary/Strand, but maybe once every 20 maps or so I'm taking a death and it hurts. It seems to only ever be hard elemental hits such as getting too many flameblasts from beyond bosses, or stray volatiles. I should be quite tanky towards most everything. 6.2k life, 77all res, 67 chaos, capped block during combat 67/69 otherwise, 73% phys reduc without buffs. I have 40ex pure right now, could probably make another 10 easy by selling off other currency. Thinking Awakened Spell
