Main difference on other skeleton mages is that this build WILL use the new unique belt The Burden of Truth. Otherwise this is a mayorly sub-par and not swag build.
I also managed to squeeze 5 auras: Defiance Banner, Determination, Purity of Elements, Zealotry and Tempest Shield. We DO lose Generosity on Zealotry, so it is slightly weaker than other Generous builds.
The main take away is that this is in theory extremely defensive, specially in mapping. 1 shot bosses will still one shot you because 1 shots.
This build gains life, ES AND mana on block, neato but not a core aspect of the build.
You can cast Summon Skeletons, Dash, Desecreate (Lvl 1) and Bone shield with the remaining mana. It is a CORE aspect of the build to have ALL the enchantments including the implicit in the helmet, the lab enchant and at least 1 ring with Non-channel skills cost -6 Mana. My character currently is a proof of concept that you can cast the before mentioned skills on a 6L with Critical Strikes or Critical Damage.
I replaced Abberons warpath for the implicit Brittle on Ground, have not tested if this is a good idea or not, but I like the defenses a Rare Boot comes with so I will probably keep it even if its a net loss of DPS.
This build is absolutely blocky, and does not use glancing blows. In fact with Ruumi you are overcapped in spell block.
This build is absolutely bonkers in Elemental Resistances, including Chaos Resistance. You should aim to get at least 1 gem with the corrupted implicit to immunize against Corrupted Blood. Purity of Elements will make you immune to elemental ailments. This build is also runs with 80% curse reduction. You can switch the Chaos mastery for 100% curse redux if you prefer.
I am aware of obvious increases in damage such as perfect clusters, awaked anything gems, and all that stuff but I probably won't grind enough to reach that max level of perfection, so I wanted a realistic POB I could actually reach.
