I planned out a character to see if the dmg numbers are there. Notes on the gear i chose: I tried to create gear that is achievable in a trade environment without too much investment The helmet is supposed to be either a blizzard crown or just a hunter base for the added dmg Amulet simulates the new dot multi roll and the base ignite changes gloves are a mix of the new added dmg rolls on rings and the dot multi from the hunter gloves the normal jewels are 2 prop only jewels, so should be fine to get medium clusters could be tricky to get, but swapping out 1 notable for a diff

First time making my own build and to be honest I have no clue if what I put together is a) playable and b) not complete dogpoop. Here is the PoB: Its very barebones. No Flasks, no uniques or special items, nothing ticked in config and the gems aren't filled out yet. It already has around 500k dps without using a second curse (allocated points in WoD just for reference) and without the vaal version. To me this seems pretty great but I have no clue if its actually playable. I am not set on hiero, just used it because I wanted to see what impact arcane surge

I've spent some time theory crafting this, if it works I'll be very happy, it has 8k phys ehp, the items are fairly idealized but most rolls are set to average since I dont want to plan around 6x t1 rares, having the right mid tier rolls is enough for me on most numbers. Hopefully this isn't as far fetched as I'm worried it is, the jewels are probably very expensive but there are a lot of rolls in those categories that should increase the dps in similar ways. Criticism and tips are very much appreciated.

Need source of blind. Possibly: Blind on hit gloves, or work blind support into CWDT links. Abhorrent Interrogation as gloves would be nice DPS boost. Maybe self-cast bone offering, since BO/Crem/VD would consume all my desecrated corpses, leaving none behind for damage bonuses (nearby corpses)?

different trees for fire and lightning, i was lazy for the cold one and theres plenty. same goes for the gear set. dont forget to switch the skills on the left and in the skills section properly. I went more into detail with the fire tree because i love firestorm and i love the stygian MTX even more so! I choose Tornado Shot for the trigger because I like the skill. There is also Blast Rain and Rain of Arrows. Another nice way to trigger would be Barrage with the volley unique jewel - its up to you. Hello exiles, &x200B; just theorycrafted some selfcast blazing salvo builds for ascendant (door + pathfinder), door and elementalist. They all use MoM + EB (specced until devouring diadem). The way i simulated the dps for BS is I took old firestorm lvl 18 which has pretty much the same dps as lvl 20 BS. I also used lvl 15 immolate to simulate the lower added dmg effectivnes of blazing salvo. The gear i used for simulation is in my opinion mediocre. Firestorm looks like it could be fun coming up, and ascendant is always good for a challenge. Heiro takes care of the mana problem with totems also +1 totem and mini MoM for defense. Chieftan gives ash, damage and tankiness through totem leech. Damage is scaled through generic sources due to EO, rest of points are life, totem and mana. I figure itll play like flameblast totems, but do pretty well on bosses.

Got to maps a few hours ago and its pretty ok. Visually S+. Nothing better than dropping meteors on stuff. It just locks you in place while casting which killed me a few times. Just didn´t get it to work with an ignite or intensity build.
