just theorycrafted some selfcast blazing salvo builds for ascendant (door + pathfinder), door and elementalist. They all use MoM + EB (specced until devouring diadem).

The way i simulated the dps for BS is I took old firestorm lvl 18 which has pretty much the same dps as lvl 20 BS. I also used lvl 15 immolate to simulate the lower added dmg effectivnes of blazing salvo. The gear i used for simulation is in my opinion mediocre. Obviously devouring diadem is not gonna be easy to get on league start but it should get a lot cheaper after a week or two. Since i dont have a lot of time to play its fine for me. You could obviously use your own aura setup for mana reservation.

So the link setup i used is this: BS - intensify - energy leech - immolate - conc effect - pinpoint. Note that pinpoint is not included in the PoB. The way i calculated is i took single hit damage from firestorm and multiplied it by 2.2*0.84 (4 intensity stages =120 more damage and 16 less proj damage). This is how i got base hit value which i multiplied with number of projectiles and cast speed. So the thing is, we dont know how much these will overlap but my investment into area of effect is imo quite big. Since BS has 6 ADDITIONAL projectiles i expect it to have 7 base projectiles. With maximum intensity pinpoint will actually results in a total of 6 projectiles (adds 3 so 7+3 =10 but makes u loose 1 per intensity therefore 10 - 4 = 6). To calculate the dps i might have been too optimistic to use 5 projectiles since this will probably require you to hug the target which might results in death.

I also decided to incorporate flame wall which i did by adding fire damage to spells onto a wand. In this case i didnt bother to reduce the dmg to account for the lower added effectivnes of BS in comparison with firestorm. FInally, to simulate frost shield i added 1.5 crit to spells to body armour. This is also super optimistic imo and might have a lot lower uptime so has to be accounted for. BTW im using old version of assasins mark which is gonna be quite a bit stronger in 3.12 so this also isnt accounted for in my calculations.

I also tried to use the most reasonable setup in configuration where only ascendant uses flasks since he has pathfinder node.

The dps should be around this number since i didnt incorporate slightly lower added dmg effectivenes of BS but i also didnt account for buffed intensity.

Overall the dps is quite low. On the other hand, with high gear investment (such as +3 fire skills staff) and for example bottled faith the dps might get into maybe 6 mil sdps which is not bad.
