I planned out a character to see if the dmg numbers are there. Notes on the gear i chose:
I tried to create gear that is achievable in a trade environment without too much investment
The helmet is supposed to be either a blizzard crown or just a hunter base for the added dmg
Amulet simulates the new dot multi roll and the base ignite changes
gloves are a mix of the new added dmg rolls on rings and the dot multi from the hunter gloves
the normal jewels are 2 prop only jewels, so should be fine to get
medium clusters could be tricky to get, but swapping out 1 notable for a different one doesnt tank dmg by a lot
Staff is a nice achievable early unique. Better rare ones can be crafted FOR SURE. but im not too sure how difficult / costly they are
Chest might be better to get frenzy on hit. An awakened one with both is obviously better. +1 gems may also be an option
Notes on the tree:
Idea was to do hybrid life/es with evasion to use the new ghost shroud keystone
2 Aura clusters are close to try out play around with. (maybe add grace or anger)
Build should be able "tanky" enough for sc. I only took 162% life on purpose to see if the layered defenses of es/eva with shrouds is enough. More small life nodes are adjacent if more is needed.
Life / es and eva are obviously dependent on the rolls on gear which are not included here. This was largely just to see if the dmg numbers are there. Which i believe they are. ca. 2 Mil dot dps is usually very comfortable for endgame. Note that flame surge changes have not yet been revealed which might further buff this builds single target

Edit: Firestorm crits per cast, so the build has no eo and loses 40% more dmg. F
